Reverend Littycia A. Clay-Crawley is a passionate and faithful servant of God. She is the wife of Deacon Frank E. Crawley, Jr. of Richmond, VA, and together they are the parents of their lovely and vivacious daughter, Nylah Kennedy. Reverend Clay-Crawley is a native of Berryville, VA where she was a member of Zion Baptist Church. She matriculated through the Clarke County Public School system. After graduation, she continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. In 2002, she graduated from VCU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She is recognized as a certified chemist through the American Chemical Society. From 2004-2006, while teaching for the Department of Correctional Education, and to enhance her ability to educate youth in the state prison system, Rev. Clay-Crawley completed graduate level coursework to obtain endorsements in Learning Disabilities and Emotional/Behavioral Disturbances. In May of 2012, Rev. Clay-Crawley graduated with a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University.
In August 2015, Reverend Clay-Crawley became the pastor of New Life Community Church. Her love for the Lord and her passion to speak truth to power strengthens her commitment to address issues impacting the lives of both NLCC’s members and the community as a whole. New Life Community Church values relationship building, Bible-based preaching and teaching, and community empowerment. Guided by its mission “to inspire in people such a great love for God and God’s creation that it cultivates a world that empowers and liberates ALL towards a wholistic L.I.F.E. in Christ,” New Life Community Church is a growing, welcoming, and affirming church on the move! Rev. Clay-Crawley and NLCC provide L.I.F.E. tools to help you live in faith every day. (“L.I.F.E.” stands for “Living In Faith Everyday.”) Rev. Clay-Crawley is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Having a strong passion for social justice, she is also active with many other organizations for the purpose of promoting good will and the love of God throughout the community. Rev. Littycia A. Clay-Crawley is a woman of God who is dedicated to the building and uplifting of God’s Kingdom through prayer and teaching as a voice and shepherd of the Lord. |
